Your Conduct

Membership of MWF
You may not have more than one active membership. Memberships are non-transferable. You may update, edit or terminate your membership at any time.
The registration process for registering your membership requires that you complete the registration form and select a password. You agree that the membership details you provide when completing the registration form are accurate and complete. You agree to maintain and update the information as supplied by yourself to ensure accuracy at all times. We reserve the right to refuse registration of, or cancel, your membership in our sole and absolute discretion.
If you choose to use a workplace email address for your membership and to access this Site, you are responsible for ensuring that such use complies with any rules, policies or protocols which apply to the use of the internet in your workplace.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information and are fully responsible for all conduct carried out under this password and account. We are not liable for any loss of confidentiality or for any damages arising from your failure to comply with such security measures. We request that you promptly report to us any unauthorised use of your password or account.
Donations
Access to the Site including the “Donations” web page, is provided “as is” and “as available” and without warranty of any kind except those not able to be excluded by Australian law.
Making Waves Foundation does not guarantee such access, particularly access by mobile phone, or that such access will be continuous, uninterrupted or secure. Mobile phone access to the website is subject to network limitations and availability as well as factors beyond the control of Making Waves Foundation.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of charity donations, refunds are given at the discretion of our management. Donations will only be refunded if genuinely made in error. Please make sure that the amount you enter is the amount you wish to give.
In the event of an incorrect amount being entered, or if the donation is made accidentally or there is an extremely unusual circumstance, please contact us in writing. We will review the request and respond within five working days.
If a donation is refunded, the associated tax receipt is no longer truthful so it should be shredded.
Declining a donation
Making Waves Foundation has ultimate discretion to decline a donation.
Other Terms and Conditions
Additional terms and conditions may apply to specific portions or features of this Site, including contests, promotions or other similar features, all of which terms are made a part of these Terms by this clause.
You agree to abide by such other terms and conditions, including (where applicable) representing that you are of sufficient legal age to use or participate in such service or feature.
